Poetry

 Tree

The tree gives shelter to traveler passing by
A crow builds a nest with twigs and nick-knacks
Koel lays the egg on the crows nest.
Birds come and go for fruits and rest
I sit bellow to get oxygen, shade and fruits.
The tree remains for decades pounded by wind
Allowing smaller trees to grow, never complaining.
One day it is cut for wood and all are sad.

 Forest

Trees, shrubs and grass make a forest
Fed by rain and streams
Used by men and animals
And insects too.

 Mountains

They stand in eternity
For the trees to grow And protect it
Till humans came.

 Streams

Streams flow from mountains
Moving in serpentine path
Joining and splitting
And falls into the river

 River

River collects water from streams
Floods the land and then branches
Give water to men and animals
And ends in a sea

 Sea

Sea embraces all the river water laden with salt
Sun sucks up moisture and makes rain
And the whole cycle is completed
Salt remains in the sea

 God

God is created by men
To instill fear and reverence
To distinguish good from evil
For society to survive.
